The Conference Room: A Key Piece in Our Clubhouse-to-Co-Working Transformation
As part of our latest project at Del Vento & Co., we’ve been reimagining a former clubhouse into a fully functional, modern co-working space. Each area within the project was designed with intention, built to support productivity, flexibility, and a more elevated work experience.
The conference room is one of the most important pieces of that puzzle.
Rethinking What the Space Needed to Be
Originally, this area was designed as a full kitchen., typical for a clubhouse environment. While it served its purpose in the past, it no longer aligned with the needs of a co-working space.
In a shared work environment, space is everything. Every square foot has to contribute to how people work, meet, and collaborate.
So we asked a simple question: What would bring the most value here now?
The answer was clear, a dedicated conference room.
BEFORE
Designing for the Way People Work Today
In any co-working space, the conference room becomes a central hub. It’s where ideas are shared, decisions are made, and teams come together.
We approached the design with that in mind.
The goal wasn’t just to create a “nice room,” but to build a space that feels:
Professional enough for client meetings
Comfortable enough for daily use
Flexible enough to adapt to different needs
Every design choice was made to support those functions.
Open, But Defined
One of the biggest priorities was maintaining openness within the larger co-working environment while still giving the conference room its own identity.
By enclosing the space with glass, we were able to create a defined room without making it feel closed off. Light continues to flow through, and the visual connection to the rest of the space remains intact.
At the same time, privacy was essential.
The addition of switchable privacy glass allows the room to instantly transform—clear for openness, frosted for focus. This flexibility makes the space usable in a variety of ways, from casual team meetings to more private discussions.
A Consistent Design Language
The conference room was designed to feel cohesive with the rest of the co-working space.
We carried through a palette of warm woods, soft neutrals, and clean lines to create a calm, modern environment. Subtle styling elements, like greenery and abstract artwork, add depth without distracting from the purpose of the room.
Nothing feels excessive, and nothing feels out of place.
That consistency is what makes the entire space feel intentional.
From Amenity to Asset
In its previous life as a kitchen, this space was more of an amenity, something nice to have, but not essential.
Now, it’s an asset.
It plays a direct role in how people use the co-working space day to day. It supports productivity, enhances professionalism, and adds real value for anyone working within the environment.
Part of a Bigger Vision
This conference room is just one piece of a much larger transformation.
As we continue to showcase this clubhouse-to-co-working conversion, you’ll see how each space was thoughtfully redesigned to serve a clear purpose. Together, they create an environment that feels elevated, functional, and built for the way people work today.
At Del Vento & Co., that’s always the goal—design that evolves with you.
